Parents Reading Initiative
*The winner who read the most books in the Parents Reading Initiative for grades K-2 was Alyssa Payne. She is a Kindergarten student in Mrs. Atkin’s class. She was also recognized at the January Jefferson County Board of Education meeting for being the third place reader in the county.
*The 3rd – 5th top reader reading the most books in grades 3 -5 was Daniel Payne. He is in Mrs. Baker’s third grade class.
*Trophies are also presented to the top classes at teach grade level.

3rd grade trophy went to: Angela Strickland
4th grade trophy went to: Shirley Skinner
